‘Company’ means Olives & Lilys Ltd (Registered in England and Wales uner No. 11905976) whose registered office is at Park House, Strathmore Road, Rowlands Gill, Tyne & Wear, NE39 1HX. ‘Customer’ means the individual, firm, company or other party with whom the company contracts; ‘we/us/our’ means Olives & Lilys Ltd; ‘contract’ means a contract for the purchase and sale of goods; ‘goods’ means any goods and any instalment of the goods or any parts for them which the company has agreed to supply under the contract.
Goods, Pricing & Availability
Every product bought is sold subject to its product description. We strive to ensure that all product details, prices and descriptions on our website or in any marketing material are accurate at the time of entering them into our systems or printing our materials. In the event when the website does not reflect the position exactly at the point an order is placed, we will try to correct any mistakes as quickly as possible and inform the customer of them so that they may either confirm your purchase or cancel the order. Pre-order items, for orders which include a pre-order item (an item which is currently out of stock but due in shortly), we shall dispatch those items which are in stock immediately and the pre-order items as soon as we receive stock at no additional charge.
We try to ensure all web pictures truly reflect the products colours, but sometimes you may see a colour variation in the products from how they appeared on your screen due to factors such as monitor settings or photographic lighting used. Please note some of our products are handmade and may have slight variations from the picture seen on our website and other items made within the order.
Care instructions are included within the product descriptions on our website. We cannot be held responsible for any goods that have been damaged as a result of not being cared for as per the guidelines and recommendations, and therefore, will not be able to issue a refund or replacement.
Only one promotional code can be used at any one time and promotion codes are not valid on sale items.
Please be aware you will be charged for the whole value of your order as soon as you place it, this includes any pre-order items.
Online orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours. Any orders placed over the weekend or during public bank holidays will be processed the next working day. Once your order is shipped, we estimate you will receive your order within 5 business days of its ship date. Delivery times may vary, but rest assured we work hard to get your order to you as quickly as possible. We are committed to sustainability and delivery method will be via Carbon Neutral shipping which supports projects to offset the emissions of the shipments transport.
Please make sure your shipping address is correct, as orders that are returned because of an invalid address may incur a further shipping charge if they have to be reshipped. After an order has been delivered to the correct shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages.
Please ensure that you check all items on receipt, as faulty or damaged items must be reported within 7 working days of receiving parcel.
Our shipping charges quoted will apply to Mainland UK only. Different prices will be charged for delivered to the Isle of Wight, Isle of Scilly, Northern Ireland, Dublin, Highlands and Islands. All prices quoted and charged are in Great British Pounds (GBP) and include 20% UK VAT.
Risk & Ownership
Risk of damage to or loss of the goods passes to you at the time of delivery to you. Ownership of goods is transferred once goods are paid in full and delivery has taken place. Goods supplied are not for resale.
Faulted, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
Should you receive faulted, damaged or incorrect goods, please take a photo and email us within 24 hours of receiving the goods at email@example.com Please do not return to goods without contacting us first.
We hope you are delighted with your purchase. However, there may be an occasion where you need an exchange or a refund. Should you wish to return an item you have 14 days in which to do so. You are responsible for the cost of returning your item(s) to us, unless you have received a faulted, damaged or incorrectly dispatched item. Please obtain a proof of purchase when you return goods. Goods must be returned in secure packaging with the returns slip completed and included in packaging. It is the customer responsibility to ensure goods are securely packaged as we cannot be responsible for any goods damaged on their way back to us. We will inspect the returned item(s) and notify you of your refund or replacement via email. We try to process returns as quickly as possible, but please allow up to 14 days for this. Cancellation of your Order by Us
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
- We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered
- One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error
If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days of your order.
